The Ink Black Heart coming to BBC One this December
It has been almost two years since Troubled Blood last aired on BBC One – but Strike and Robin will return to our screens with The Ink Black Heart in a few weeks!
When a frantic, dishevelled Edie Ledwell (Mirren Mack) appears in the office begging to speak to private detective Robin Ellacott (Holliday Grainger), she decides the agency can’t help her. Robin thinks nothing more of it until a few days later, when she reads the shocking news that Edie has been murdered in Highgate Cemetery, embroiling Robin and Strike (Tom Burke) in a case that stretches them to the limits.
The new season will begin with episode one airing on Monday 16th December at 9pm on BBC One, followed by episode two on Tuesday 17th December, 9pm.
Episodes three and four will release the following week, Monday 23rd December at 9pm, and Tuesday 24th December, 9pm.
